In 1978 I fulfilled my dream to live in Colorado. I moved from Chicago to Heeney on the Green Mountain Reservoir. This world is my inspiration, I’m in awe of the are around me, water, trees, mountain terrain and the ever changing sky overhead. I capture light, color and form depicting it with fabric as my palette. Fiber and stitch give a visual texture. The goal is to have a piece this is a pleasure to look at from a distance, but draws you in for a closer look. I’m continuing to try new things with my art, the latest is dying and painting fabric.
